Injured Wrist + Dirty Hair = I Need a Local Stylist

My wrist is still very sore, and doing simple things like turning the doorknob is painful. During times like this, I wish I had a local stylist. I haven't had much luck finding a local stylist. The first stylist gave me a setback in one visit. The second stylist did a great job with my wash and blow dry/flat iron, but then decided that my hair was too much for her to handle.  

Now that my hair desperately needs to be washed, and I'm in no position to wield a blow dryer or flat iron, I'm considering going to a stylist.

Ever had one of those days when you are convinced that it is Friday, but then you come crashing down as you realize that it is actually Thursday?

Well that was me today. I swore today was Thursday, so I made plans according to my usual Thursday schedule, which includes ballet class. I woke up thinking that I would not have time this evening to wash and dry my hair before class.

By the time I realized it was Wednesday, I was very annoyed with myself because I could have used today much more productively. I avoid washing my hair in a state of annoyance and I advise that you do the same. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we can be rougher with our hair when we're upset, sad, tired, etc., and that can quickly cause a setback.

I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm so excited about this movie!  How can you not be?  Its an entire movie about one of the most famous heads of hair in fairy tales - Rapunzel!  My favorite character has to be the horse, Maximus, seen below. 



I love horses, especially a horse with this much personality.

If time permits, I'm going to see Tangled this weekend.  Who is with me?
